Manzanilla Cacereña

This variety known in Portugal as "negrinha and azeitera" is grown in Alta Extremadura (Sierra de Gata, Las Hurdes Valle del Jerte and la Vera). It extends through an area of 95% of the olive trees of this area and the variety is protected as D.O. Gata-Hurdes.

It is produced both to milling and direct consuming. It gives us oils with good intensity (cuerpo), with herbal aromas, spicy and bitter in the middle-high range and aromas of other ripe fruits, especially sweet bananas.
